Alumni activities
In April 2010, the graduates of the Theatre Academy founded The Society for Alumni of the Theatre Academy. The aim of the society is to keep contacts among graduates, keep contacts to the Theatre Academy, support its aims and strengthen the position of performing arts. The society will organise occasions, informs about the activities in the Theatre Academy and raises the public attention to the operation and development of the Theatre Academy. The first chair is theatre director Kimmo Kahra.

 Also the Department of Dance is interested to develop the collaboration with its own alumni in various forms. These forms could be for example acting as a godmother/father for the student, visiting teachers, offering work experience for the students, the auditing of the MA thesis, collaboration within the field of production and performance, collaboration with the international guest teachers, information about the activities in Dance Department e.g. demonstrations, performances, open lectures, international guests and the alumni meetings.
